The policy
This Privacy Policy explains how RCMA Valet LLC (“RCMA Valet,” “we,” “us,” or “our”)
collects, uses, and protects your information when you visit our website, request a quote, book valet
services, or otherwise interact with us online or offline.
By using our website or submitting your information to us, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
Collect
1. Information we collect
We collect information that you voluntarily provide to us, including:
- Contact information (such as your name, phone number, email address).
- Event details (such as event date, time, location, estimated guest count).
- Business details if you’re inquiring on behalf of a venue, restaurant, or company.
We may also collect:
-
Technical information about your visit (such as browser type, device type, screen size,
language, time zone, connection type, and pages visited), collected via cookies or similar technologies.
-
Request and referral details when you submit a quote. When you send us a quote request we
record the IP address the request came from, your browser’s user-agent string, the page you first landed on,
the website that referred you, and any advertising campaign tags in the link you followed. We use this to
answer your request, to prevent spam and abuse of the form, and to understand which of our own listings and
advertisements bring in real inquiries. This information is stored with your quote on our own systems. The
page you first landed on, the site that referred you, and any advertising campaign tags are also sent to our
analytics and advertising providers as part of standard site-visit tracking. Your IP address and user-agent
string from the quote request itself are not shared with those providers.
-
Communication history (such as emails or messages sent via our contact forms or social media).
-
Mobile app data (employees and staff): If you use our internal mobile application, we collect precise location data (GPS) and device information to support operational features such as geofenced time-tracking and payment processing.
Use
2. How we use your information
We use the information we collect for purposes including:
- Responding to quote requests and service inquiries.
- Scheduling and providing valet services at your event or location.
- Communicating with you about bookings, changes, or follow-up.
- Improving our website, services, and customer experience.
- Running advertising and analytics to understand interest in our services.
We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.
The app
3. Mobile application permissions and hardware
The RCMA Valet iOS application requests specific device permissions in order to run valet operations. We handle that data as follows:
-
Location Services (GPS): We require “When In Use” location access to verify that employees are physically within a designated venue’s geofence before allowing them to clock in or out. Location data is used strictly for time-and-attendance validation and is not tracked continuously in the background after your shift ends. Stripe also requires location data to securely process in-person transactions.
-
Bluetooth and NFC (Tap to Pay): The app requires Bluetooth and near-field communication (NFC) access strictly to interface with supported Stripe card readers and process “Tap to Pay on iPhone” transactions. We do not use Bluetooth for any form of location tracking or personal data collection.
-
SMS communications: We collect customer and staff phone numbers to support automated SMS text messaging (for example, requesting a vehicle or notifying a customer that their car is ready). These messages are routed through our communications provider, Twilio.
Cookies
4. Cookies and analytics
Our website may use cookies and similar technologies to:
- Remember your preferences and improve site functionality.
- Measure traffic and understand how visitors use the site.
- Support advertising and remarketing campaigns (for example, via Google Ads).
You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect certain features of the site.
Partners
5. Third-party services
We may use trusted third-party providers to help us operate our website and business, such as:
- Website hosting and analytics tools.
- Email or communication platforms.
- Advertising platforms (including Google Ads).
These providers may process limited personal information solely to perform services on our behalf and are not
permitted to use your information for their own unrelated purposes.
Our quote form includes Google Maps features and content: what you type in the “Venue name or address”
field is sent to Google Maps Platform to suggest matching places. Unlike the providers above, Google handles
this information under its own terms. Your use of Google Maps features and content is subject to the
Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service
and the
Google Privacy Policy.
Retention
6. Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to:
- Provide the services you requested.
- Comply with legal, tax, or accounting obligations.
- Resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.
When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to securely delete or anonymize it.
Protection
7. How we protect your information
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including:
- Secure connections (HTTPS/SSL) on our website.
- Restricted access to customer data to authorized personnel only.
- Use of reputable platforms and providers for data storage and communication.
When you check a quote request with its request code on our quote page, we show only your first name, the
event date, the request’s status and any note we added for you, and we limit how often codes can be checked
from one connection, using a one-way scrambled (hashed) form of its IP address rather than the address itself.
While we take these steps, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee
absolute security.
Your rights
8. Your choices and rights
You may contact us to:
- Update or correct your contact information.
- Request that we delete certain information, subject to legal requirements.
- Ask questions about how your data is used.
- Account deletion: Request the complete deletion of your mobile app account and associated personal data by contacting us directly.
Children
9. Children’s privacy
Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
Changes
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top
of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically to stay informed about how we protect your information.
